Last Heavy Unlockable |

The last remaining unlockable weapon for Team Fortress 2's Heavy class
has been revealed as the Sandvich, set to arrive as part of the update
hitting PCs later today. The delectable tool was also detailed in a new "Meet the sandvich".

Heavy's Second Weapon |

In addition to the Heavy's new boxing gloves, cleverly dubbed "Killing Gloves of Boxing" or K.G.B., Valve has announced the Heavy's second unlockable weapon.
Her
name is "Natascha," and anyone struck by her bullets will be slowed for
an instant, thus severely limiting the target's options when faced with
an approaching Heavy Weapons Guy.

New TF2 Map |

Valve has revealed a new map called Badwater Basin. The map was revealed as part of Valve's six-day Heavy update.
Much like the original Gold Rush map, the Red defensive team must
escort a bomb cart through a longwinded track until it crosses all of
the level's checkpoints. The Blue team, on the other hand, tries push

Heavy Updates Revealed |

Valve updated the site today with the unlockables coving to the Heavy class in the next update. One of the unlockable weapons is the Killing
Gloves of Boxing, a melee weapon that gives out five seconds of
guaranteed critical hits every time the player scores a kill. Further
kills with the KGB will stack another five seconds of critical hits,
making for a vicious cycle of critical beatdowns. The 35 acheivements for the Heavy are named but
not detailed. They include some pun-tastic gems like "Lenin a Hand" and

Heavy Update Hits Next Tuesday |

The "Heavy Update" will be rolling out via Steam next week,
August 19. The Heavy-focused revision will bring with it new maps, new
Achievements, new game modes and a special installment of the "Meet the
Team" video series. That means the Heavy class will finally get his new
weapon load out, as the Medic and Pyro have already done. Valve describes the update as "the largest update to Team Fortress 2
since it was first released."
